What is Cellbase's returns policy?

Due to the nature of cultivated meat products, most items are not eligible for return.

Non-returnable products: The following cannot be returned once shipped:

  • Cell lines and biological materials

  • Growth media and liquid supplements

  • Opened consumables and sterile products

  • Custom or made-to-order items

  • Cold chain products (cell lines, certain growth factors)

These products are excluded from returns due to:

  • Contamination risk from handling

  • Storage requirements outside our control

  • Sterility and quality assurance considerations

  • Perishable nature of biological materials

Defective or damaged items: If you receive products that are:

  • Damaged during shipping

  • Defective or not as described

  • Temperature-compromised (based on temperature indicators)

Contact the supplier directly within 24 hours of delivery. Suppliers will work with you to:

  • Arrange replacement at no charge

  • Issue credit for defective products

  • Investigate and resolve quality issues

Wrong item shipped: If you receive the wrong product, contact the supplier within 24 hours. They'll arrange return shipping and send the correct item.
