The fee covers that work: sourcing and listing verified suppliers, handling your payment securely, coordinating the supplier on your behalf, preparing the documentation your procurement and customs teams need, and supporting your order if anything needs resolving — including cross-border logistics, permits, and made-to-order items.
For straightforward orders this happens quietly in the background. For complex ones — live cells crossing borders, cold-chain shipments, configured equipment — it can involve significant hands-on coordination between you and the supplier. The fee is the same either way, and it's what lets us keep sourcing frictionless across a young, fragmented industry.
The fee is charged by Cellbase and is separate from the price of the goods and shipping. A receipt is available on request.
